Highlights of the Department:
1. Department offers Diet Consultancy, Food Analysis Service, Housing Interiors and Landscape Design Service and Ergonomics Consultancy.
2. Department offers bone mineral density and body composition analysis free of cost for RTMNU employees.
3. Every year, entrepreneurship-cum-health expo is organized in the department.
4. Guest lectures and workshops are regularly conducted in the department.
7. Under N.S.S. unit of the department, tree plantation and shramadaan is regularly taken up.
8. Student’s feedback about academic offering of the Department is taken every year.
The Nagpur University was established on 4th August, 1923 with six affiliated colleges and 927 students. During 1947, the number of students increased to about 9000 accompanied by the improvement and diversification of curricula and expansion in the range of subjects.
