Dr. Payal Thaorey is the Head of the Department of PGTD of Law, RTMNU since February 2022. She is a PhD supervisor & Assistant Professor (Sr.Gr) at the Post Graduate Teaching Department of Law, RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur, since October 2013. She is elected as SENATE Member for the year 2022-2027 from RTMNU University Teachers's constituency. She is the Coordinator of IPR Cell of RTM Nagpur University since January 2021. Fourresearch scholars have been awarded PhD and 4 Research Scholars are doing their Ph.D. under her Supervision. Her specialization is Business Law. In addition to that her areas of interest are Legal Research Methodology, Law and Social Transformation, Science and Technology Law, Intellectual Property Rights, Cyber Laws, etc. She has more than 13years of teaching Experience. Dr. Payal Thaorey has participated in various International and National Seminars & Conference and has more than 37Research Papers publication to her credit in various National Journals, Seminar Proceeding having ISSN / ISBN Numbers. She has successfully completed two fully funded International Research Project and oneconsultancy project from Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, Lund, Sweden for the project titled“Model Handbook on Implementation of SDGs by the Local Governments for protecting Human Rights related to Environment Protection and Gender Equality”for the period of October 2020 till June2022. She has received Minor Research Project on the topic of“Critical Analysis of Laws related to Data Protection with special reference to Data Privacy in India” 2019-2021. She has been invited as resource person in various International, National and State level events.

Dr. Vijayata G Uikey, LLM Ph.D., has been teaching as permanent faculty in the PGTD of Law since October 2013. Currently she is Director (In-charge), Centre for Women’s Studies and Development, RTMNU. She was head of PGT Department of Law and PG Law Diploma courses RTM Nagpur University from 2017-2022. She was Chairman (Ad-Hoc), Board of Study in law, RTMNU. She is in the Editorial Committee of Humanities Journal, RTM Nagpur University. She had served as a Member of Special Task force of law and Special Examination task committee, RTMNU (2017). She has a Teaching Experience of 08 years; her specialization is Business Law. In addition to that her areas of interest are Corporate Law, Economic legislations, Criminal law, Indian penal code, Indian Contract Act, Consumer protection Act, Arbitration, International Trade Law, International Economic Law, Competition Law, Foreign Exchange Regulation law, Intellectual property Law etc. Dr. Vijayata G Uikey has participated in various International and National Seminars & Conference. She has more than 13 Research Papers publication to her credit in various National Journals, Seminar Proceeding having ISSN / ISBN Numbers. She successfully Completed International Research Project received from Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, Lund, Sweden, project entitled “Model Handbook on Implementation of SDGs by the Local Governments for protecting Human Rights related to Environment Protection and Gender Equality” in 2021. She has received University Research project entitled “Critical Evaluation of the viability of Contract in terms of Governance by Social Media Platform with special reference to Principles of Rule of Law and Constitutionalism in India”.

Dr. Girish Balkrishna Kulkarni

Dr. Girish Kulkarni has been teaching as a permanent faculty in the department since October 2013. His specialization is Jurisprudence and Constitutional Law. In addition to that his areas of interest are Administrative Law, Disability Laws, Human Rights & Duties Corporate Law, Indian Contract Act, etc. He is specifically working for realization of rights of persons with disability and accessible environment as per Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD). He has completed his masters from Pune university. He has completed his doctoral research work in the Rights of Persons with Disability under Constitution of India. He is also doing a research project on “Evaluation of The Accessibility as a Component of the Equality of Opportunity in all Matters of Education and Public employment for Persons with Disability.” He has also participated in various International and National Seminars & Conference. More than 80 students have worked under him for their Masters Dissertation.
