• Orientated by Delivering Guest lecture on various aspects of “ Bio-threats and the instruments / devices used for cultivating microbes” to officers and personnel of Government of India of 15^th Biological Incident First Responders training program organised by National Civil Defense College , Nagpur ( Govt. of India) to build capacities for disaster response and management at the Centre  on dated on 5^th April 2018

• Acted as the Co-convener  & Participated in RUSA Workshop on “New NAAC Accreditation methodologies for HEIs” 
  organised by State project Directorate, RUSA Maharashtra for Accredited, Non-Accredited Gran-in-Aid , Non grant and Permanent no grant basis colleges on as a part of NAAC workshop series in university across Maharashtra  at Rajiv Gandhi Biotechnology Centre, R.T.M. • Organised the felicitation function of  Prof. H.F. Daginawala for conferring 'Lifetime Devotion' award in collaboration with PGTD Biochemistry & PGTD Microbiology, RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur & Microbiologists Society of India at Lata Mangeshkar Hall, Rajiv Gandhi Biotechnology Centre, LIT Capmus, on 8th December 2018 (Dr. Arti S. • Organised & acted as the Organising Secretary to celebrate ‘World Nature Conservation Day’ in collaboration with Maharashtra State Biodiversity Board and Vasundhara Mitra Pariwar in Smt. Lata Mangeshkar Seminar Hall of Rajiv Gandhi Biotechnology Centre, RTM Nagpur University Nagpur on 28^th July 2019. Earlier the guests planted various medicinal plants/saplings and later a workshop on ‘Seed Ball Preparation’ was organized on the occasion. (Dr. Arti S. Shanware)
• Counseling/Consultancy services to farmers, Research Scholars, Students   & Entrepreneurs in regard to their research & allied activities.
• ‘Nirmiti Study Circle’ weekly display activity jointly collaborated by the students of               M.Sc.I & II based on current research activities.
• Group Discussions were conducted for the students as well as for the cultivators & masses in the tribal and backward regions of Vidarbha were organized.

G. student of Department of Pediatric and preventive Dentistry, Government Dental College and Hospital, Nagpur at the Centre under theSupervision of Dr. Arti Shanware, Director of the Centre for microbiological study of dentinal tissue sample fordissertation/ research project on dated 07/10/2019.

• Organised Survey carried out by Ms. Poonam Ingolay, PGTD, Law, RTM Nagpur University to collect information through questionnaire and short interaction with the P G Students and Research Scholars of the Centre  for the partial fulfillment of Masters in IPR on 10/10/2019 (Dr.(Mrs.) A.S. Shanware)
• Organized the ‘Parent-Teacher Meet’ at Rajiv Gandhi Biotechnology Centre, Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj, Nagpur University, Nagpur on 17^th October, 2019 at 12.00 pm in Lata Mangeshkar Seminar Hall of the Centre (Dr. Arti S. Shanware).

• Project Dissertation work of Mr. Sunil K. Sahu, student of M.Sc. (Biotechnology) –II Year- SEM IV of Govt. E. Raghvendra Rao Post Graduate Science College, Bilaspur (C.G.) has been carried out at the centre under the supervision of Dr. Arti Shanware, Diretor of the Centre, entitled “Isolation and Characterization of Some Silicate Solubilizing Bacteria” from 15^th January 2020 to 14^th March 2020. 
• Project Dissertation work of Mr. Hitesh Kumar Aditya, student of M.Sc. (Biotechnology) –II Year- SEM IV of Govt. E. Raghvendra Rao Post Graduate Science College, Bilaspur (C.G.) has been carried out at the centre under the supervision of Dr. Arti Shanware, Diretor of the Centre, entitled “Development Of Different Innovative Bioinoculant Formulations And Their Effects” from 15^th January 2020 to 14^th March 2020.

• Acted as a Organising Secretary to celebrate National Science Day celebration for the students of the PG teaching departments and affiliated colleges organised by Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University Catalyzed and Supported by National Council for Science and Technology Communication, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India and Rajiv Gandhi Science & Technology Commission, Government of Maharashtra on 28th February 2020. The theme for 2020 is 'Women in Science'. The various Competitions were organised successfully on the said occasion viz., Science Video Clip, Science Exhibition- Model Presentation and Innovative Idea Competition (Dr.(Mrs.) A.S. • A research project entitled ‘Proposal for Establishing nCoV2019 Diagnosis Center for testing COVID-19 samples at Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur, has been submitted for onward approval to ICMR,Govt. of India on 14.04.2020 (Dr.Arti Shanware, Director of the Centre has been appointed as the PI of the Project) 
• Organised a visit of  Eight Team Members of COVID-19 Diagnosis Centre of RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur to COVID-19 Testing Center at SGB Amravati University, Amravati, for Technical and Administrative know-how to run the laboratory ,on 04.05.2020 (Dr.(Mrs.) A.S. Shanware)

Research Output of the Centre:      

1. R & D major Research Project entitled “Studies on Development of Biosensor Technology for Rapid BOD estimation” sanctioned by UGC, Govt. of India, New Delhi.  The project focussed upon developing an easy-to-handle BOD estimation kit for rapid, in situ application in water wastewater analyses.  Moreover, the proposed system cuts down high cost for instruments and apparatus, and can be easily used on the pollution sites and the wastewater treatment sites.  This system can be altered for use as a powerful tool to determine and monitor specific pollutants like heavy metals, endocrine disruptors and pathogens to examine on-site wastewaters by using gene promoter assays using recombinant cells containing bacterial luminescence genes.
2. R & D major Research Project entitled “Development of Milk Nutraceuticals Using Microbial Probiotics with Ayurvedic Herbs” sanctioned by UGC, Govt. Of India, New Delhi has worked on the Nutraceuticals and functional foods products, offering exciting opportunities to consumer interest in health enhancing foods.   
3. R & D Major Research Project Proposal on ‘Strategic upgrading of Liquid Formulation for Effective Microorganisms Technology’ has given emphasis on Development of Liquid Biofertilizer Technology   through Biotechnological interventions that addresses a mission to benefit a target population specially, women through skill development with various interventions of agro-based and process development through training and demonstration .The emphasis is on dissemination of proven and field tested interventions through training and demonstration activities for addressing specific problems in development of Biofertilizers- cum- Biopesticide technology packages, refinement and validation to suit different agro climatic conditions. 
4. Collaborative Major Research Project entitled ‘Development of  new treatment for multidrug resistant uro-pathogenic bacterial infection’ explored the possibilities of drug designing for varied uro-pathogens leading to some dreadful infections due to multidrug resistance commonly prevalent in society. The manufacturing technologies and associated plans for their commercialization was successfully achieved.
5. Minor Research Project entitled "Exploring the Diversity of Actinobacteria Spp. in Nagpur Region” deals with exploring the Bio-diversity of Actinobacteria Spp. In Nagpur region which has not been documented before. The project proposes to isolate, characterize and identify Actinobacteria Spp by various chemotaxonomic and molecular methods. This isolates would be screened for their bio-active metabolites, enumerated and assessed.
