Admission Intake, Rules and Procedure & Eligibility
Eligibility for M.Sc. Degree Biotechnology Course Programme:
Eligibility criteria for admission to the M.Sc. Semester I in Bio-Technology shall be all Life Science graduates or Agriculture or Veterinary or Fishery Science or Pharmacy / Engineering / Technology / Medicine (M. B. B. S.) or B. D. S. graduates.
Intake strength in each academic session will be 20 students:
Student’s selection and admission of M.Sc. Biotechnology teaching programme are made through Centralized Admission Procedure (CAP) as per R.T.M. Nagpur University norms since the academic session 2017-2018.
Also coordinating Student’s admission to Ph.D. Programme which follows Clearance of PET Examination being conducted by RTM Nagpur University & by following Standard guiding principles of UGC.
The Nagpur University was established on 4th August, 1923 with six affiliated colleges and 927 students. During 1947, the number of students increased to about 9000 accompanied by the improvement and diversification of curricula and expansion in the range of subjects.
